In this lesson, we will focus on learning how to initiate and sustain simple conversations in Nepali. By the end of this lesson, you will be able to ask and answer questions about personal information, hobbies, and interests.

1. Introducing Yourself:
   • Namaste! Mero naam Maya ho. Tapai ko naam ke ho? (नमस्ते! मेरो नाम माया हो। तपाईंको नाम के हो?) – Hello! My name is Maya. What is your name?
   • Namaskar! Mero naam Rajesh ho. Tapai ko naam ke ho? (नमस्कार! मेरो नाम राजेश हो। तपाईंको नाम के हो?) – Hello! My name is Rajesh. What is your name?
2. Asking about Hobbies:
   • Tapai ko ruchi ke ho? (तपाईंको रुचि के हो?) – What are your hobbies?
   • Mero ruchi gaan sunnu ho. (मेरो रुचि गान सुन्नु हो।) – My hobby is listening to music.
   • Tapai ko ruchi ke ho? (तपाईंको रुचि के हो?) – What are your hobbies?
   • Mero ruchi pustak padhnu ho. (मेरो रुचि पुस्तक पढ्नु हो।) – My hobby is reading books.
3. Talking about Interests:
   • Tapai lai kun kun kura maan paryo? (तपाईंलाई कुन कुन कुरा मन पर्यो?) – What are your interests?
   • Mero man paryo photography garna. (मेरो मन पर्यो फोटोग्राफी गर्न।) – I am interested in photography.
   • Tapai lai kun kun kura man paryo? (तपाईंलाई कुन कुन कुरा मन पर्यो?) – What are your interests?
   • Mero man paryo bidesh ghumna. (मेरो मन पर्यो विदेश घुम्न।) – I am interested in traveling abroad.

Practice Activity:

• Role-play conversations with a friend or practice speaking aloud.
• Create your own dialogues using the phrases learned in this lesson.
• Write a short paragraph introducing yourself and talking about your hobbies and interests in Nepali.
